Martin Luther King is my hero for many reasons. He helped all black people with non-violent protest. He showed perseverance. And many more qualities, just like loving all people.

His birthday was January 15th. He helped the blacks gain their rights in the U.S.A. Martin Luther King was a good man for helping the people all over the world. He did not hate the white people, but loved all people the same. He fought for all people. When he was young he could not go in a store because only white people can go in it. But he helped to change the laws.

He always showed perseverance. He never stopped in hard times and in easy times too. And one of the times is when some bad people bombed his house. But he still hanged in there. He never gave up. For that reason, Martin Luther King Jr. is my hero.

Martin made a famous speech. He tried to make one that was prepared, but he said “I should speak from my heart.” So he did. Then, the next day he said his speech and that helped give all black people in the U.S.A. equal rights.

For all those reason Martin Luther King is my hero for helping the blacks gain their rights. For persevering, and making a famous speech for the black people. They even made a holiday that was on his birthday to remember him on his birthday.
