Miriam Espinoza

by Albert from Ontario

A deep voice I heard say," So what would you like to be?"

A soft voice replied, "I want to be in the U.S Army."

"Your name?"

"Miriam Espinoza".

And that was my sister Miriam.   She is 16 and is close to getting in the US army. She is really brave and is proud to know that they accepted her in the army. Miriam is really smart and always thinks before doing something that will put her into trouble.  That's a good example for me to learn from.

Miriam would like to be in the US Army and would do anything to be in it. We are really proud of her and all she needs is to pass the test.   We believe she is going to pass the test and be a US Army soldier.

Miriam is also the first one in the family who thought of  being in the army.   She has always told me if you have faith you can achieve anything you want. So believe and achieve while following your dreams because that's what my hero told me to do.

She inspires me to be someone big in life, like a police officer, or to be in the FBI. This is why I am trying hard in school and showing respect to my teachers and classmates.  I want to do something like getting in the army and be respected by others.
