Miley Cyrus, Tennessee Hero

Miley Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee. Her father is the famous country music star Billy Ray Cyrus. As a child she was always smiling so her nickname became Miley. She changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus in 2008 as her legal name. She is most famous for her Disney series movie role as Hannah Montana which she starred in during 2004.

Miley grew up on a farm near Nashville with her two siblings and three half siblings. She is passionate about singing and acting. As a younger child she did appearances on her father's tv series Doc. She attended Heritage Middle School and had a private tutor when she appeared on Doc. In 2009 she wrote an autobiography titled Miles to Go. Miley's family is very important to her. Miley hopes to motivate mothers and daughters to build lifetimes of memories together and inspire kids around the world to live their dreams. She made a movie to show people how hard it is to have two lives and not tell the world.

Miley is young but has show characteristics of a hero by her dedication to working hard to make movies. She also loves to sing and works hard to inspire others to pursue their dreams. Miley cares a lot about her relationship with family.
