Ms. Mary Ann Callahan

My McConnell teacher hero is Ms. Mary Ann Callahan. She is a great 5th grade teacher. Ms. Callahan is my teacher this year.

She was born in Jester, Alabama. Her favorite food is ice cream. Ms. Callahan’s favorite pet is her cat. When she was a little girl she liked to play kickball. In school her favorite subject was Social Studies. She went to the University of Alabama where she earned a BS Degree in Home Economics and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.

Ms. Callahan demonstrates Hero Characteristics because she likes working with kids. Ms. Callahan thinks honesty is the most important trait. The most difficult thing she did was deal with death.

Mrs. Callahan loves to teach. I chose Ms. Callahan as my hero because I wanted to know more about her.
