My hero is my great grandfather Irving or in my words Poppy Irvs! I picked him because he helped save our country. He fought in the army for World War ll. He was in war for 8 years. He made us a free country!!

He was born in Palm Springs and lived there until he went away to war. He met His wife Fredda when he was 21. He had 2 kids, Phillis, and Janice. Then 10 years later grandma Fredda died when he was 86. When he turned 90 he moved to Georgia.
One of his famous quotes was "If risking MY LIFE will help others, then I will fight."
