Eric Stakem

My Dad, Eric Stakem, is my hero. He helps me if I need help in school. If I have a problem, he is there for me to talk to. He was born in Maryland, and spent most of his life there. He met my mom at WVU. He got married in 1997 to my mom in Wheeling, WV. His favorite hobbies are coaching, golfing, and fishing.

My dad is my hero because he helps me with sports like basketball, soccer, and softball. He goes outside with me and helps me shoot hoops, passing a soccer ball, and pitching in softball. When we go back inside he helps me with homework, like Social Studies, Science, and Math.

My dad shows me that if you treat someone the way you want to be treated you will have many friends, and people will like you. I love my dad so much. My dad is my hero because he helps me in so many ways. I love him. That’s why my dad is my hero.
