My dad and my soccer coach, Brad Brown, is my hero. He has inspired me to play soccer. Even though my parents are divorced, he tries his best as he can to make me feel at home wherever I am. He is always there for me and makes me feel special when I’m with him. Even when I’m with my mom he calls me every night just to let me know he is thinking about me. That is why he is my hero!

My dad was born at OVMC (Ohio Valley Medical Center) in Wheeling, West Virginia. When he was little he lived in a gigantic green and red house on the top of Walnut Avenue in Woodsdale. My Grandma and Grandpa still live there today! He enjoyed working on cars, or the house with my grandpa who his hero when he was little.

He got married when he was in his twenties to my mom, Victoria. Soon after that - well not that soon to be exact, ten years later I was born on December 1st! When I was four my parents got a divorce. I was too young to remember, but it still affects me. I currently spend the week with my mom and the weekends with my dad. I think our schedule works perfectly for our family!

My dad is very special to me. He has helped me achieve my goals, and is there for me at the end of the day. I know he will always love me and will protect me. He assures me of that every day. I also know he will always coach me in soccer, or even just encourage me to do better in it. He is my hero!
