FREEDOM HERO:
MOHANDAS K. GANDHI
by Jan from Elkins

When Gandhi became a victim of racial discrimination in India, he began to preach against it. He build up his thoughts and practices on non-violent problem solutions.

He became a strong leader of the people committed to the development of a non-violent technique for the conduct of conflict. He always stuck to his principles although they caused him many problems and suffering.

His movement of freedom for India ended with the "Great March" of Indians minors into Transvaal. In 1914 negotiations were carried out, and temporary compromises were made.
