A hero is someone who can do what has never been done before and is someone that also is brave, intelligent, and courageous and a hero is also someone who has made history by doing an amazing thing.

I think Neil Armstrong is a hero because he did what people thought could not be done and he was brave enough to go to the moon. He might not have survived along the way, but he went anyway because he wanted to. He was the first man to walk on the moon. He set the American flag down into the moon’s surface to represent our country, and there is zero gravity on the moon, so there is no wind, so it can’t blow away.

Neil Armstrong’s accomplishment was that he proved that people could walk on the moon. Neil Armstrong was the first person to go into space and land on the moon. The rocket that flew Armstrong to the moon was Apollo 11.

When Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and was brave enough to survive the terrifying journey up to space. He is a hero because he believed he could do what was thought to be impossible with the help of Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.
