I think a hero is someone who takes a big step or a risk in their life. I think a hero is someone who donates money, food, toys, and water for people who need it. I think a hero is someone who is a positive citizen, caring, trustworthy, nonviolent, and respectful. I think a hero is someone who is helpful, responsible, fair, brave, and wise. I think a hero is someone who is considerate, who has courage and is peaceful. I think a hero is someone who risks his or her life. I think a hero is someone for how they have helped the world.

My hero is Michael J. Jackson. Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana to an African-American working-class family. Michael was in the Jackson 5 and made many songs such as “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I'll Be There”. The Jackson 5 got so popular that they had their own self-titled cartoon show which ran from 1971-1973. As Michael got older he became a solo artist and made many songs such as “ Don't Stop Till' You Get Enough” “ Rock With You” and “ She's Out of My Life”. In 1982 Michael made his famous album Thriller which generated seven top ten hits. In the album Thriller there were songs such as “ Billie Jean” “Thriller” and “Beat It.” In “Billie Jean” Michael made a famous dance move called the “Moonwalk”. Thriller won twelve Grammy Awards. Some of Michael's most famous songs were, “ We Are The World” “Bad” and “ The Way You Make Me Feel”.

Michael Jackson's change of skin tone was because he had a sickness called Vitiligo. Michael designed and owned an amusement park called Neverland, which also had a zoo in it. Michael also made songs called “History,” “You are not alone” and “Scream”. Music and Me” “Forever, Michael”.

Michael Jackson, one of the most popular artists of all time, died suddenly from cardiac arrest on June 25,2009 in Los Angles just before the concert series. He was only 50 years old.

Michael had done many things such as saving children's lives. He saved children's lives by giving them food, water, and toys. That's why he was respectful and caring. Michael was peaceful because he helped save the lives of many people in the world, especially Africa. Michael is trustworthy because he took people all over the world. Michael is brave because he sang in front of thousands of people almost everyday in his life. Michael is wise because he made wise choices in his songs. Michael was helpful to his children by giving them a good education. Michael was responsible because he kept track of when anything special was going to happen. Michael was considerate because he said “God Bless You” to everyone who was kind to him. Michael did many more kind things but those were just some.

Michael Jackson is very important to me. He is important because he inspires people - especially me! Other people he inspired and helped were children in hospitals. Michael has made a difference in my life because of his music. It has inspired me to take hip-hop classes and help other people. He's also made a difference in my life because he saved people's lives and that makes me really happy. Michael Jackson is an amazing person and no one can replace him. I wish he was still alive.
