He is a hero because he was a great peacemaker. Janez Drnovsek shared his positive energy  with the rest of the world. He was trying to help all people no matter who they were.
My hero is Janez Drnovsek, one of most popular Slovenian politicians. He was our Prime Minister and later the president of Slovenia. He was born in 1950 in Celje and died in 2008 in Zaplana.He is buried in his native Zagorje ob Savi, where we also have city park named after him and his statue as well.

Janez Drnovsek spoke six languages. His favorite hobbies were jogging, tennis and skiing. He had a son Jasa and daughter Nana. As a president of Slovenia he was trying to solve political problems and founded the Movement for Justice and Development. He was its first president. The most important activities of the Movement are healthy and ecological food, social justice, animal care and so on.

When his doctors found out that he had a cancer he dramatically changed his lifestyle. He became a vegan and believed that the nature was his best and only cure. As he was trying to make the world a better place for all the people, I think that he was one of the greatest heroes on our planet.
