Lady Diana Frances Spencer

by Ervina from Koper

Lady Diana Spencer was born on 1 July 1961 at Park House near Sandringham, Norfolk. She married The Prince of Wales at St Paul's Cathedral in London on 29 July 1981. By then, she lived in London. She gave birth to two sons - Prince William and Prince Henry (Harry). After her divorce from The Prince of Wales, The Princess continued to be regarded as a member of the Royal Family. The tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales occurred on Sunday, 31 August 1997 following a car accident in Paris, France.

Until the end of her life she was involved with charities working to help children, homeless people and AIDS sufferers, as well as with the campaign to ban land mines. She was the first of the well-known personalities who touched or better gave hand to a leper. Lady Diana Spencer is important to me because every time I remind me of her, I remember that everyone should be kind with everyone, that we are all the same. She thought me we have to help the ones, who don't have as much as we have.
