Diana Lopez of San Antonio, TX, was on the path to join the air force like her older sister. After graduating high school she gets the chance to intern at a local grassroots org fighting for environmental justice. That's when she discovers the contamination that the Kelly Air Force Base has been spewing into the local community, causing elevated numbers of illnesses in citizens. That's when her life path took an unexpected turn.
