New Science and Technology Stories

A generous grant from the Sloan Foundation has fueled the addition of over thirty new profiles on women and minorities in the sciences.

New stories include scientist Dr. Sue Savage Rumbaugh, who studies the primate communication of bonobos; young environmentalist and inventor Gina Gallant who recycles waste to pave roads; physicist Zohra Ben Lakhdar whose specialty is atomic spectroscopy; geneticist Christiane Nusslein-Volhard who studies fruit fly embryos; and Hong Kong environmentalist Mei Ng who believes women hold the key to sustainable development elements.
