I am going to tell you about Ryan Hreljac. I am going to tell you how he is a hero here and far.

Ryan Hreljac is from Kemptville, Ontario. He loves to watch the Simpsons and he watches the show a lot. He played on a basketball team and hockey team at his school. He likes to play chess and some computer games too, and he likes to laugh. While he is a normal kid, he spends time helping the world by giving them clean water.

Ryan started to build wells when he was 6 years old. He asked his mom and dad if he could do chores to earn the 2,000 dollars that it cost to make a well. He would not stop and he worked hard until he got the money and then he started to work on his first well, which was completed in Uganda in 1999. When Ryan was 15 he visited his first well. He is now 16 years old and he is still building wells. He says that he wants to be a water engineer.

While Ryan is my hero he says that his hero is all the kids all around the world who are working to make a difference even though there are tons of adults who don’t always listen to them and don’t think they can make their dreams come true, but they are and that’s great.

For the past 18 moths Ryan has traveled to Canada, to Australia, the United States, China, Japan, and Italy. He is determined to work hard. He is giving because he is giving the people that have dirty water and he is giving them clean water. He is brave because if something is going wrong he is there to fix it just like he gave the people clean water.
