Aaron Rodgers

                Aaron Rodgers is my hero. He was born December 2, 1983 in Chico California. He is six foot two and weighs two-hundred twenty five pounds. He went to college at the University of California and played football there.  He plays professional football now for the Green Bay Packers.  He is their quarterback.  He has been the Most Valuable player in the National Football League once.

               As a Christian and a professional football player he shows integrity on and off the field.  He is a leader on his football team because of his character and work ethic.  His fellow players look up to him.  Every year Aaron puts on a big Christmas fundraiser with his football team. He and the team preach the gospel to all the little kids that only have one parent.  They also donate a lot of money to The Salvation Army.  He shows God's love by his actions. 

                 My hero loves the Lord in his own unique way. "He loves the Lord with all his heart, but he does not like to show it to other people."  This quote is from Troy Murfey, Aaron Rogers pastor. I chose Aaron Rodgers to be my hero because he is an excellent football player and he loves Jesus.  He loves the Lord but he does not like to show it in front of other people.  I do worship the Lord better in my own little quiet place.  I'm sure he likes to worship in his own place too.  I also like to help people but I don't want them to always know it was me.  I know Aaron Rogers has a heart for God and I do too.
